You must be a United States citizen and live within the United States;

What this means for you:
When you open an account, we will ask for your name, address, date of birth, and other information that will allow us to identify you. We may also ask for copies of your driver's license or other identifying documents.

You must be an U.S. Citizen with a U.S. postal address to open an account online. Non-resident Aliens or U.S. Citizens residing in or outside of the U.S. should visit one of our 14 convenient branches.
