(LORIS, SC) – On Friday, May 29th, Richard Carroll, Vice President and Loan Officer at our 2nd Avenue Conway office, Bobby Doty, Assistant Vice President and Loan Officer at our Myrtle Beach branch and Heather Elliott, Assistant Vice President and Comptroller of our Finance Department graduated from Louisiana State University Graduate School of Banking.

Held annually on the campus of Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, the Graduate School of Banking is generally recognized as the finest banking school in the nation and is celebrating its 60th annual session.

The Graduate School of Banking is a three-year program in which students spend two weeks each year on campus. During these resident sessions, students receive more than 200 hours of classroom instruction and are required to complete a series of 10 bank study projects – five the first year and five the second year. In the third year, students are divided into management teams to operate their simulated banks in a competitive environment and then required to make presentations to their fellow students and to a set of judges who determines the best managed bank.
