About HCSB

Horry County State Bank (HCSB) was organized in 1987 and opened on January 4, 1988 with a single banking office in Loris, South Carolina and a commitment to provide quality banking services at reasonable costs and to be a leader in the financial support of the economic development of the communities that the bank served.

HCSB has since expanded its market area substantially to include most of Horry County, South Carolina as well as the southern portion of Columbus County, North Carolina. HCSB now has fourteen (14) full service banking offices, including two in Loris, one in the Mt. Olive community, three in the Conway market, one in Little River, two in North Myrtle Beach, two in Myrtle Beach, one in the Socastee community, one in the Carolina Forest section and one adjacent to the South Carolina - North Carolina state line at Tabor City.

A key factor in HCSB's growth has been its ability to attract experienced banking personnel who are not only knowledgeable in banking but also quite familiar with the communities in which they work. We stress to employees to treat our customers as we would want to be treated.
